about

PATHOMECHANICAL is actually the "lost album" of the Halforganic Series. It was slated for a 2003 release as nex007, but never came to be due to the intimate, provisional character of the recordings. Here, FK combined bass guitar, guitar, and vocals, recorded in 2002. These songs went further than before in terms of orchestration. These were no longer electronic jams and tracks that made use of distorted synth sounds in order to create a guitar "ambience". The album received a project title – PATHOMECHANICAL – a reference to an early experimental track created in 1999, using an AKAI sampler, vocals, and bass guitar. Half of the songs collected here were substantially reworked and completely re-recorded for FK's GREY ALBUM in 2005 and appear in their original form here. The original recordings were remastered in 2008 for this online release.
