Michael Carter You mean nothing to me sums up the passionate indifference of this record.Certainly reminiscent of early Godflesh but without any seeming empathy but it is a totally absorbing listen.A sonic juggernaut of spite, essential!

REVIEW: "This album will either piss you off or disturb you, depending on whether you agree with what Mark is shouting at you or not. Either way you feel after listening, you’ll be enriched for it. This is a damn good album ... The album is also masterfully paced and ordered. I really feel as though albums such as these should be taken as a whole, as the feeling crafted by one track builds as the album progresses. It is a journey ... the visceral, biomechanical discontent continues to flow and pulse throughout the rest of the album, until finally reaching a crescendo ... Put on a pair of headphones and listen to the whole album in one go. Then do it again. Then fight the urge to go throw a brick through the establishment’s window." CVLT NATION

REVIEW: "Listening to this CD, I have flashbacks from older Godflesh: And in a good way. Fragment King might be called 'ROCK' in iTunes. Still, it should be considered an accessible version of Sludge / Drone Metal, Power Electronics, Industrial and a layer of Noise. So yes, it fits many different stickers/labels. The graphic design by Liis Roden follows the original tightly. Nine tracks between roughly 6 and 10 minutes. The first seven all fit this earlier description. Track nine is a remix by Berlin-based Drum n Bass artist Bazooka who also mastered it, which leaves us track eight, "Kingdom". That would probably be my favourite; painful feedback combined with an orchestral score in the background and massive abuse of a bass guitar (I think) with at moments triggers the whole stasis of chaos. A great and, as said, painful piece." Vital Weekly

REVIEW: "Kammerbauer creates a true bombast by mixing guitar playing and effects together with Industrial noises. The work has something chaotic and yet structured. It remains a bit to the bombast of The Swans and the cellar atmosphere of Sleep Chamber. The last song is a remix by Bazooka. Fragment King became an expert in the creation of overwhelming, bombastic, sound atmospheres. The way he manipulates guitar sounds into industrial noises is truly captivating. I recommend listening to “Greater Than Man” but also the opening piece “Mobilize” featuring screams instead of vocals in a noticeable cut. You better like Industrial music and related genres otherwise Fragment King will be a bridge too far. Conclusion: An apocalyptic sensation created by harsh, fuzzy, guitar playing and weird sonic treatments." Side-Line Reviews
